My name is Mark Anderson, I am from a hospitality background settling into a head chef roll in many hotels and restaurants. Customer service is in the blood. I started my French alpine adventures in 2001 where I worked Les Menuires in the three valleys. Over the future years the opportunities were there to work and enjoy many seasons in many different alpine locations including posts in Greece and Turkey.
I got married in 2011 and settled in Alpe d’huez, bought an apartment and started to lead a simple, happy life surrounded by friends and nature.
Seasonal work has lead me to discover a demand for a transport and transfer service , having a car always called for various journeys to be asked, from airport runs to late night emergency’s that were and are difficult to find at the right price and speedy time scale.
The “Alpexpress” concept was born. Time spent investigating, planning, organizing have given the business the simple concept I demanded. A reliable, family friendly, convenient service, on hand to deliver a pocket ready service.
Business needs are catered for also. From the tour operation that need their uniform, stocks or staff moving from resort to resort last minute, to the small chalet team who needs more wine for their discerning guests and the supplier will only deliver to the valley floor because of the late hour.
The demand is there and we will understand and adapt to get the job done.
